Our founder, Rachael, has over 12 years of experience in dog training and a lifelong passion for helping dogs and their owners build strong, trusting relationships. Through years of hands-on experience and a range of professional qualifications, Rachael has developed a specialist approach to puppy training that focuses on positive, relationship-focused methods tailored to each dog and owner.

We understand that every life is different, and every dog has their own personality. That’s why our training is personalised, positive, and practical, helping puppies develop the skills they need to thrive in everyday life. Whether you want a dog that can join you at work, relax in a café watching the world go by, or hop on a train to confidently explore new places, we guide you every step of the way.

Through early education, positive guidance, and ongoing support, dogs can experience freedom, adventure, and joy in every part of their lives, creating strong, lifelong bonds with the humans who care for them. Our hope is that every owner can enjoy the true companionship and happiness that comes from having a dog they can trust, take anywhere, and share life’s best moments with!

Pooches Before Profit:

At Baywood, dogs come first and by choosing us to help you with training your dog, you’re having a paw-sitive impact on the lives of many dogs in need and, for that, we thank you!

For every training session booked with us, we make a donation to rescue centers both in the UK and Portugal. This small gesture goes a long way in helping the dogs waiting for forever homes.

Watch this space as, in the coming months, we will be launching the Baywood Scholarship Fund. Through this fund, we will be working with rescue shelters and attach professional training courses to the re-homing papers of dogs to help make them more adoptable and ensure they stay in their new home forever.

We have big plans to build our very own dog rescue and re-homing shelter. While this dream is a few years away, we wake up every morning excited to get to work to make it all possible.
