London’s Puppy Training Specialists
Expert Group Puppy Training in London
Our group classes give your dog the chance to learn in a calm, structured environment, where everyday distractions like other dogs and people are part of the learning. Each course follows a clear, proven curriculum designed around your puppy’s development stage to build focus, calmness, and reliable habits you can practise and reinforce at home, on walks, and around the city.
Held downstairs at Daisy’s Dogs in Stoke Newington, these small classes are designed with busy, modern London life in mind. Whether your dog is just starting out, continuing early training, or navigating the challenges of adolescence, you’ll get practical guidance, hands-on exercises, and the confidence to support your dog’s development in real life.
With structured lessons, expert feedback, and a supportive environment, group training is an effective, social, and enjoyable way for your dog to learn — while giving you the tools to maintain calm, confident behaviour every day.
The perfect place to start. These early puppy classes focus on socialisation, calm handling, and building strong foundations so your puppy grows into a confident, well-mannered dog from the very beginning.
For growing puppies who are ready to build on the basics. These classes help you develop focus, good manners, and reliable skills while preventing common problem behaviours from forming as your puppy matures.
Adolescence is a big stage in your dog’s life. These classes support you through the teenage phase, helping you keep training on track or regain consistency, focus, and calm as your dog grows into a confident adult.

As the founder of Baywood, I am someone who has always been deeply moved by the bond between dogs and the people who love them. I started working as a dog trainer in 2012 while living in Sheffield and spent a lot of my free time volunteering with the dogs at the RSPCA Animal Shelter. This gave me the chance to work with a wide variety of dogs — all sizes, breeds, and each carrying their own story. It was an experience that opened my eyes to just how much individuality exists in every dog. I came to understand how important it is to communicate with and train in a way that’s right for that dog — not the last one, or the next. Just like people, dogs need to be seen, heard, and understood for who they are. That experience deeply shaped the way I work today: with patience, curiosity, and a genuine respect for every dog’s unique personality and history.
My love for training began with my own dog, Boswell. I wanted to give him the most enriching, joyful life possible — and I knew that meant helping him become confident, well-mannered, and adaptable. Through positive training, Boswell became my trusted companion in every part of life. Living in the city centre, he confidently navigated busy weddings, bustling pub trips, and everyday urban life. But he was just as at ease on peaceful countryside holidays and mountain-top adventures. His days were full of pleasure and discovery, and he approached every experience with calm confidence and happiness. His days were full of pleasure and discovery, and he approached every experience with calm confidence and happiness. Thanks to his training, he was well-behaved and welcomed wherever we went. We shared years of everyday adventures side by side — and it’s that same freedom and joy I aim to bring to every dog I work with. The bond we built, grounded in trust, communication, and mutual respect, is the reason I do what I do today.
After Boswell passed away, I expanded Baywood’s services to include in-home care and training — bringing the love, dedication and attentiveness I had for him into the homes of other dogs and families. Whether I’m offering training support or overnight care, I treat every dog like my own, making sure they feel safe, understood and genuinely loved.
I’ve experienced first-hand how powerful life with a well-trained dog can be, and it’s my mission to bring that magic into the lives of others. Helping people and their dogs connect more deeply, feel more confident together, and enjoy the everyday moments is what drives me — and I feel so lucky to call it my job.
Outside of my work, I love surfing and exploring the outdoors — and I bring that same calm, present energy to every dog I work with.

Based in East London (E17), I’ve had the privilege of working with dogs and their families across London, running group puppy development classes, one-to-one home sessions, adolescent training, and even agility classes. Each stage of a dog’s life brings its own challenges and rewards, and I love supporting owners through them all. For me, progress is about more than training the dog—it’s about building owners’ confidence too. I believe in positive, non-judgemental support that makes learning fun and creates lasting change.
Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and I can’t imagine a world without them. From the joy and comfort they bring to the lessons they teach us, they continue to shape how I live and work. I’ve shared my life with both puppies and adult dogs, and my current puppy reminds me daily that with dogs, the learning never stops.
Alongside my practical experience, I believe it is vital to continue learning. I hold a Practical Dog Training Qualification from the Institute of Modern Dog Trainers (IMDT) and an Accredited Diploma in Canine Coaching, which equip me to help dogs and their owners build strong behaviours and confidence. In November, I will be expanding my expertise by training directly with Steve Mann, founder of the IMDT and author of the UK’s bestselling puppy training book, Easy Peasy Puppy Squeezy.
When I’m not working with dogs, I’m a big music fan with a growing record collection, and a keen—if sometimes not very successful—gardener.

Our training methods are centered around creating lifelong bonds between dogs and their owners. We believe that dogs deserve the best life possible, and we strive to achieve this through our positive reinforcement techniques. We teach dogs to behave well because they want to, not because they fear consequences. Our ultimate goal is for dogs to have a happy, healthy, and well-balanced life with their human companions.
Some of the methods we use include:
Positive reinforcement: We use rewards and praise to encourage desired behaviors and make training sessions fun and engaging for both dogs and owners.
Reward-based training: Treats, toys, and verbal encouragement are used to motivate dogs and make learning more enjoyable.
Gentle guidance: We provide clear, consistent commands and gentle guidance when necessary, ensuring that dogs feel supported and comfortable during training.
By focusing on building strong relationships and using positive reinforcement techniques, we help dogs become well-behaved and confident members of their families.

Our puppy training sessions take place at your home and in local parks, cafes, and other dog-friendly places. We start in your home environment to build a strong foundation and ensure your pup feels comfortable, then progress to real-world settings for more advanced training.
Our in-home sessions are designed to be convenient for busy pet owners, saving you time and hassle. This allows you to focus on building a lasting bond with your furry friend while we provide the expertise and guidance needed to create a well-behaved, confident, and adaptable companion.

Each puppy training session lasts for one hour, as we've found this duration to be ideal for both the pup's learning capacity and the owner's progress.
Puppies have limited attention spans and can become overwhelmed if sessions are too long. By keeping each session to one hour, we can maintain your pup's focus and ensure they absorb the training effectively.
For owners, one-hour sessions allow you to learn and practise new techniques without feeling overwhelmed. This duration also enables us to provide personalised guidance and address any specific concerns or challenges you may be facing with your pup.
