As Baywood continues to grow across London, we're looking for experienced, self-employed Dog Trainers and Senior Dog Trainers who share our values and are passionate about making a genuine difference to the lives of dogs and the people who love them.
The Role
You'll deliver one-to-one training sessions in clients' homes and local outdoor spaces, tailoring every session to the individual dog and owner.
Using practical, reward-based training methods, you'll coach owners through everyday challenges, helping them build confidence, improve their handling skills and develop lasting relationships with their dogs.
As a Baywood trainer, you'll represent our brand with professionalism, empathy and exceptional client care, ensuring every owner feels supported from their very first session.
Which Role Is Right for You?
Dog Trainer – £30.00 per hour
This role is ideal for experienced trainers who are confident delivering everyday dog training, including:
Puppy, adolescent and adult dog training
Loose lead walking
Recall
Everyday manners
Calmness and settling
Confidence building
General life skills
Senior Dog Trainer – £40.00 per hour
This role is suited to experienced trainers who also have the knowledge and confidence to work with more complex behaviour cases, including:
Reactivity
Fear and anxiety
Resource guarding
Behaviour modification programmes
Complex training and behaviour cases
What We're Looking For
Professional dog training experience.
A recognised qualification in dog training or behaviour, or equivalent professional experience.
A commitment to force-free, positive reinforcement training methods.
Excellent communication and coaching skills.
Friendly, professional, organised and reliable.
Confidence working independently while representing an established brand.
Public Liability Insurance.
DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (preferred).
Location
We currently have opportunities across London.
Clients are allocated within a reasonable travelling distance of your home, so you won't be expected to travel across the whole city. When applying, please let us know which areas of London you're able to cover.
