Rachael

Every dog deserves to be understood as an individual, with training tailored to who they are. Her approach is built on patience, compassion, curiosity, and genuine respect for every dog she meets.

When Boswell joined her in 2012, Rachael wanted to give him the happiest, most fulfilling life possible. Through positive training, he became confident, adaptable, and able to enjoy every adventure by her side. From busy city-centre weddings and pub trips to countryside holidays and mountain walks, Boswell experienced life with confidence and ease. Their relationship became the inspiration behind Baywood, and the freedom they shared is what she now strives to help every owner experience with their own dog.

When she is not working with dogs, she enjoys surfing and spending time outdoors, bringing a calm and grounded energy into every session.

Rachael has always been deeply inspired by the bond between dogs and the people who love them.

Her journey as a dog trainer began in 2012 while living in Sheffield, where she also spent time volunteering with dogs at the RSPCA Animal Shelter. Working with dogs of every size, breed, age, and background showed her just how unique every dog truly is. Each one has their own personality, experiences, and way of communicating. This reinforced a belief that continues to shape everything she does today: there is no one-size-fits-all approach to training.
